first time of learning french

last friday, it is the first lesson of learning french at the "Alliance Française de Hong Kong". as the international city, hong kong has a lot of french word from place to place, like ranging some ladies crazy brands to some luxury wrapped real estate advertisements, however, this is my first time to meet french as a language officially. before that i though french is quite similar to english as i believe it is kind of devise from latin (not sure whether it is?), when the teacher told me all the verbs/nouns in french has male / female and with no rule to govern, i start wondering how funny the french people is, hm..... the language itself is live. anyway, let's start the learning the french alphabet.
